Attract Customers with Neon Signs

It is dark outside, most likely about 3 am. All the bars have just recently closed and as I stumble out of one of them I realize how hungry I am. I knew I should have ate something before closing time, if I only would have paid attention to my stomach’s gurgling instead of that bachelorette party beside me. Now I am stuck but suddenly I see the light. Yes, you guessed it the neon lights of some restaurant off in the distance that says “OPEN”. Neon lights for businesses are essential to staying alive during the night time. As the story above demonstrates, how are people suppose to realize if restaurants are open or closed in the dark of night? Neon signs are an asset for businesses to have as they are read very clearly in the dark as opposed to those simple signs. I am a college student and the story described above is something that has happened to me probably one too many times. My advice to businesses would be to get neon lights if you want night time business. 

There is a certain feeling of homeyness that many people associate with neon signs, especially when it comes to finding a place to relax and unwind. Bars and clubs, two very popular spots that people go to relax, employ the use of neon lights. The fact that these types of lights use less electricity enables them to burn slightly darker than regular light bulbs. This gives a more relaxed atmosphere at these locations, which attracts many of its customers. If you have a bar or game room in your home and you want it to feel more inviting, installing a neon light may contribute to a more relaxing environment. Guests who you would invite to your house would associate the lights with a relaxing bar or lounge that they have been to. The darker characteristic of the lights will also create a very comfortable atmosphere. Some people may argue against installing neon signs in one’s home- but I believe it can be quite classy if done properly, Neon lights can make a very nice addition to a bar or game room and have your party guests feel comfortable and happy in your home.

Advertising is a competitive business and those involved are constantly looking for ways to get ahead. Catch-phrases and slogans associated with different places or items help to attract customers. When using neon lights and signs for advertising, a company has a fun way to stay in the customer’s mind. People relate things that they want to the creativity of advertising. Using neon signs instead of the many other ridiculous advertising techniques can save a company a great sum of money. As well, for companies, such as brand names, that are very well know, selling their logo in the form of neon signs can also increase profits. It is common for home bar owners to hang various neon signs of alcohol brands in their bar. These companies can produce and sell neon signs of their company’s name or slogan not only brings in great profit but also creates a new way of advertising.
